Three West Germans were sentenced Friday to jail terms of up to 10 years for belonging to the outlawed Red Army Faction guerrilla group and bombing a police barracks.

Norbert Hofmeier, Barbara Perau and Thomas Thoene were convicted of membership in a terrorist organization and of carrying out the 1986 attack on a border police base.

A fourth defendant, Thomas Richter, was found guilty only of membership in the underground leftist group.
