Wanted: Memories

Did you know this man?

Harold Lloyd--one of the masters of comedy during the silent era (known for his trademark horn-rimmed glasses, and his tendency to dangle precariously from flagpoles and ledges)--will be the subject of an upcoming British-made documentary.

Film historians Kevin Brownlow and David Gill--who made the wildly terrific documentary series for Thames TV on “Hollywood,” “Unknown Chaplain” and “Buster Keaton: A Hard Act to Follow”--would like to hear eyewitness accounts of how Lloyd worked.

“If you were a property man, an assistant director, technician or player, we should love to hear from you,” said the duo.
