“Kids Like These,” a 1987 CBS movie about a mother whose child has Down’s syndrome, is among the winners of the 10th Media Access Awards that salute production companies, groups and individuals for the accurate portrayal of people with disabilities. The awards were presented Sunday at the Beverly Hilton by the California Governor’s Committee for the Employment of Disabled Persons. Other recipients include: “Throb,” “Hunter,” “Wiseguy,” “General Hospital,” “20/20,” “Gaby” and “L.A. Law.”
