ABC’s Barbara Walters has taped a two-hour interview with Libyan strongman Moammar Kadafi that covers his thoughts on President George Bush, terrorism, Palestinians and Israelis, and the Libyan chemical plant that the United States suspected was being built to make poison gas. Excerpts from the interview will air Friday night on ABC’s “20/20” series, a network spokeswoman said Monday. After helping cover President Bush’s Inauguration last Friday, Walters flew the next day to Tripoli for her interview with the Libyan ruler. The interview was held Monday in his tent at a compound just outside Tripoli.
