Local : Holden Offer: ‘Buy All Uzis, AK-47s’

Los Angeles City Councilman Nate Holden, who is a candidate in the mayor’s race, offered today to buy every Uzi and AK-47 assault rifle brought to his office or turned in to police.
Using campaign funds or his own money, Holden told a news conference: “I will buy, pay for, each AK-47 and each Uzi that they turn in to law enforcement in this community. We will burn them and destroy them. They should not be used against a good citizen in our community.”
