Mary Martin’s Emmy-winning version of “Peter Pan” will be back on television for the first time in 16 years when NBC shows it March 24. “Peter Pan,” the first Broadway hit to be moved intact from the theater to a television studio, was telecast live on NBC twice, in 1955 and 1956. Another production was shown in 1960, and repeated in 1963, 1966 and 1973. The live Broadway “Peter Pan” production originally began in Los Angeles at the Philharmonic Auditorium under the auspices of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera.
