PARIS —
Officials said Wednesday that a Mirage 2000 jet fighter clipped a cable car line during training Tuesday over an Alpine ski resort, damaging the jet but causing no injuries.
French air force officials said they are investigating the accident in which the two-seat jet was flying at 420 m.p.h. over a cable car line linking the resort of L’Alpe d’Huez with the slopes at Pic Blanc, about 350 miles southeast of Paris.
