Actor Burt Reynolds will be dodging simulated gunfire in filming an escape from prison today in Lantana, Fla., but he can’t get away from the sniping of unhappy townspeople. The scene is for his upcoming ABC detective series, “B. L. Stryker.” Residents living near the Lantana Correctional Institution, however, say they’ve had enough of breakouts lately--real or filmed. The town is tense over a series of escapes from the prison last year, and Lantana Town Manager Don Harvey feels “the timing is absolutely inappropriate.”
