Controversy Over Taped Police ‘Sting’

Most people when stopped for a traffic violation have enough common sense to stay put in their cars. The very act of exiting a car when stopped is enough to warn the policeman that he is going to have a problem, and with the wave of violence in our society, he would have to be lacking in judgment not to be prepared for the worst possible circumstance.

The fact that the sequence of events was taped by a TV station is sufficient evidence that the whole confrontation and its results were programmed by those involved in elicit exactly what transpired or worse. It’s one thing to report news; it is something else to create it.

Security is a basic civil right, but redress of grievances is also a basic right of all Americans. So if we have a breach of rights we can seek redress. We don’t have to resort to manipulation of the law.
