StarSignal Introduces Color Fax Machine

StarSignal Inc. has introduced what it said is the first facsimile machine capable of sending full-color pictures over conventional telephone lines.

The company said the device, with a $19,000 price tag, will be aimed at the growing desktop publishing market and other uses that require fast transmission of color images. Existing facsimile machines are used primarily for communication.
