Fourteen candidates met Tuesday’s filing deadline for Glendale City Council elections, and they will be on the ballot on April 4.

The field of candidates running for three seats on the five-member council includes two incumbents--Mayor Carl W. Raggio and Councilwoman Ginger Bremberg.

Councilman John F. Day will not seek a fourth term on the council. His announced retirement opened the gates for the largest field of candidates in at least three decades.
