Lynwood : Gangs, Gun Control to Be Discussed
Elected officials, state and federal legislators and their representatives have been invited to in a gang summit meeting at 10 a.m. Friday in Lynwood.
Lynwood City Councilman Robert Henning said he has asked elected officials from the nearby communities of Long Beach, Compton, South Gate, Paramount, Huntington Park, Carson and Inglewood to meet and discuss possible solutions to the gang problems facing many of the cities. The group also will discuss gun control measures, Henning said.
The meeting will be at Bateman Hall in the Lynwood City Hall complex, 11330 Ernestine Ave.
