MAI Basic Four Inc.’s first-quarter earnings slipped 3% from the year-ago period to $5.46 million. Revenue for the Tustin-based computer maker increased 26% to $107.65 million. The company said the decline in earnings was due to higher net interest expense and amortization of good will.
