Belcor Inc., an Irvine-based holding company, reported that net income for the year ended Oct. 31, 1988, totaled $859,700, 21% higher than the $713,298 posted for the year-ago period. Revenue for the fiscal year rose 57%, to $21.8 million from $13.9 million last year. Fourth-quarter results were not released. The company credited the acquisition of profitable manufacturing businesses and aggressive internal expansion for the gains. Belcor is a holding company engaged in the manufacturing of polyethylene bags, specialized metal fabrication and oil and gas production.
