World : High-Priced Teen Sex Ring Broken

TURIN, Italy —
Police today said they arrested two Italian men on charges of running a teen-age prostitution ring that charged clients as much as $3,600 for each encounter.
Adriano Casardo, 47, and Michele Novello, 42, were accused of arranging appointments, either in private homes or secret brothels, for several girls ranging in age from 14 to 17 whom they sometimes also “loaned” to other pimps.
Last week in Milan police arrested a woman who forced her 13-year-old daughter to prostitute herself for as much as $11,000 a session.
