Micropolis Corp. said it was named in a class-action lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles that alleges that the Chatsworth disk drive maker inflated its stock price. The suit, filed on behalf of investors who bought Micropolis stock from Feb. 10, 1987, to Sept. 23, 1988, alleges that the company omitted key facts or made misstatements in describing its business and financial results. The lawsuit did not list a damage amount. Stuart Mabon, Micropolis chief executive, said the company believes that the suit is without merit.
