Conservatives Keep Power in Bermunda

HAMILTON, Bermuda — Premier John Swan’s conservative United Bermuda Party, which has ruled the island for 20 years, held onto power Thursday but its majority in the 44-seat House of Assembly was cut from 31 seats to 23.
The left-leaning Progressive Labor Party increased the number of its seats from 7 to 15, official election results showed.
