Trio-Tech International named H. Frederick Koehler as president and chief operating officer. Koehler, 53, was president of Leach Relay, a Buena Park electromechanical relay company. He succeeds Charles Wilson, who was named chairman of the board. Jack Guy, former Trio-Tech chairman, was named vice chairman.

Trio-Tech is a San Fernando maker of testing equipment for the semiconductor industry.
