Screenwriter-playwright Larry Gelbart (co-creator of TV’s “MASH”) is aglow from a rave New York Times review for “Mastergate,” his new satirical stage comedy, but he doesn’t know yet if he’ll take it to Broadway. He’ll decide after the play concludes a 40-performance run at Harvard’s American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Mass., at the end of March. “Mastergate” is a takeoff on the Iran-Contra scandal.
