Campbell Soup Co. said second-quarter earnings rose 12% to $94.9 million and sales advanced 18% to $246 million, both record levels, aided by strong gains in domestic core brands and international acquisitions. The Camden, N.J., food company said all of its operating divisions--Campbell U.S.A., Campbell International, Pepperidge Farm and Campbell Enterprises--scored gains despite increased costs of ingredients and packaging.
