Private defense consultant William Galvin has been suspended from doing business with the government in connection with the sweeping federal investigation into military procurement, the Pentagon announced. No charges have been filed against Galvin, but court papers filed last year said he worked for both Loral Corp. and a division of Litton Industries while they competed for work on an Air Force advanced radar warning receiver. The Navy, which is a Pentagon agent for many defense contracts, said it had suspended Galvin and his firm, Athena Associates, from any contracting with the government pending outcome of the investigation.
