Tehran Executed 24, Opposition Group Says

BAGHDAD, Iraq —
The Moujahedeen, Iran’s main opposition group, said Tuesday that the Tehran government executed 24 political prisoners this month in its Persian Gulf port of Bandar Abbas.
The Baghdad-based group said 16 of the prisoners were hanged in the first week of February and eight five days later. It did not identify the prisoners or say why they had been detained.
