A majority of Americans believe flying on commercial airlines is more dangerous today than it was five years ago, according to a Gallup Poll. In the survey, 52% said commercial flying has become riskier, 36% believe it is unchanged, and 9% think it is safer. However, this was a decline from two years ago, when a survey showed 64% thought commercial flying safety had worsened, 28% found little change, and 5% felt it was safer.
