“USA Today on TV” also has lost a face. Robin Young, the Los Angeles-based anchor and correspondent, has left the syndicated program that premiered last September. In a prepared statement, Young noted difficulties in the show’s original format of four anchors. Now, she said, referring to a revamped format and the Jan. 2 departure of financial anchor Kenneth Walker for personal reasons, “it certainly didn’t need three. . . .” She wished those still working on the show well. They include the two remaining anchors, Bill MacAtee and Edie Magnus, who continue to hold the fort at the show’s headquarters in Roslyn, Va.
