Elvis Presley, the king of rock ‘n’ roll whose image graces everything from the cheapest ashtrays to paintings by Andy Warhol worth millions of dollars, now appears in full gyration on a credit card.

The move, by Memphis-based Leader Federal Bank for Savings, highlights the growing market for affinity cards, or credit cards that are marketed to groups of consumers who share an interest in an activity or organization. The Elvis Presley card shows a young Elvis in concert with his guitar against a backdrop of a glowing Wurlitzer jukebox. The MasterCard logo appears in the lower right-hand corner.
