The “First Ladies on Parade: Inaugural Gowns” luncheon and fashion show Friday at the Anaheim Hilton & Towers netted about $10,000 for the county chapter of Freedoms Foundation. Carole Engstrom was chairwoman.

The “Ambassador of Life” recognition dinner Saturday at the Anaheim Marriott netted about $25,000 for the American Cancer Society’s county unit. Dixie Bullington was chairwoman.

The “Nordstrom Spring Trend Show” on Saturday at Nordstrom South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, netted about $5,000 for KOCE-TV, Channel 50, of Huntington Beach. Jo Caines was chairwoman.

The dinner-dance on Saturday at the Irvine Hilton & Towers netted about $83,000 for Tri-County chapter of the Leukemia Society of America. Kevin Spence and Peter DiMicelli were co-chairmen.
