Dynamite Seized in Manila

MANILA —
Philippine police seized about 9,000 sticks of dynamite and other explosives in a jeep that stopped the U.S. Embassy early Wednesday, police said. Officers were questioning four men who said they were hired to transport the explosives to the northern province of Ilocos Sur.
