Redevelopment Board Approves 137-Unit Apartment Project
The Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency board Wednesday approved one of the largest affordable housing projects it has ever undertaken, providing 137 low-cost apartments in South-Central Los Angeles.
The CRA will lease the property on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, between Hoover and Figueroa streets, to Coliseo Housing Partnership, a coalition of four building groups, and loan the developers $4 million.
