Seventeen tenants have been signed for The Center at Rancho Niguel, and most plan to move in later this month. The mixed-use center, on Greenfield Drive, will eventually have 440,000 square feet of commercial space dominated by a 36,000-square-foot Hughes Market.
The Buie Corp. is developing the 600-acre Laguna Niguel master-planned community in joint venture with Home Capital Development Group, a subsidiary of Home Federal Savings & Loan.
Construction has started on Brown Field Business Park, a $154 million, 2.2 million-square-foot mixed-use business park on 160 acres adjacent to Brown Field in San Diego.
The California Structures & Ahmanson Commercial Development Co. project, located between Otay Mesa Road and Airway Road, is the largest planned development in the Otay Mesa area.
When fully developed, Brown Business Park will have 15 buildings ranging in size from 76,000 to 540,000 square feet. All site improvements and completion of the first building are scheduled for early May.
