Daley, Vrdolyak Declared Chicago Primary Victors

CHICAGO —
The Chicago Board of Election Commissioners Tuesday officially declared Richard M. Daley the winner of last week’s Democratic mayoral primary and Edward R. Vrdolyak the winner of the Republican race. The two will face Alderman Timothy Evans, a black Democrat running as an independent, in the April 4 general election.
