Mt. Holyoke College officials said they will review a student vote to ban Coca-Cola from campus before deciding whether to join opposition to the soft-drink maker’s South African business ties, officials said Tuesday. The students voted Monday for the ban by a margin of 59% to 31%, with about 78% of the college’s students participating.
