Israeli troops used a bulldozer to storm a U.N.-run medical clinic in the occupied Gaza Strip in pursuit of Palestinian demonstrators. At least 25 Arabs were clubbed in the incident at the Jabaliya refugee camp, according to a Palestinian doctor, who said windows and medical equipment were broken. An Israeli army spokesman confirmed that some Palestinians were wounded but was unable to give details. The disturbance came as demonstrators hurled stones and blocked roads in various areas of Gaza over the death of an Arab prisoner after interrogation by Israeli agents; 36 Palestinians were reported wounded by army fire. In Nablus on the occupied West Bank, troops killed a Palestinian who refused orders to stop. He was a suspect in the killing last month of an Israeli staff sergeant.
