Wyoming basketball coach Benny Dees said that Brigham Young charges that his players made anti-Mormon comments during a basketball game are unfounded.

BYU guard Andy Toolson claimed that after he was knocked to the floor at one point in a game Feb. 23, Wyoming’s Clauzell Williams leaned over to him and said, “Get off the floor and quit crying, you . . . Mormon.”

Dees said that Williams told him that he simply told Toolson to “quit crying” and nothing else.
