Separatists, Opponents Battle in Belgian City

BRUSSELS —
Separatists and opponents fought a seven-hour battle in the streets of the university town of Louvain, police said Friday.
Police used tear gas and water cannon to break up fighting between 500 demonstrators calling for an independent Dutch-language Flanders and about 100 students Thursday night.
