Commercial Scene : Building Begun at Santa Monica Center

Construction has started on the $50-million Lantana Center in Santa Monica, as a joint venture of developers Arlene Sellers and Alex Winitsky and Unisys Corp. Tishman Realty & Construction Co. is building the five-element campus-style office complex designed by architect Arthur Pereira, on a 7.25-acre site at 3000 W. Olympic Blvd. that formerly served as headquarters for Systems Development Corp.
