General Mills: The food maker and restaurant operator said third-quarter income rose 15.3% to $82.3 million from a year ago on sales of $1.45 billion, an increase of 17%. Officials of the Golden Valley, Minn.-based firm said the gains for the period ending Feb. 26 reflected strengths in Big G cereals and Red Lobster and Olive Garden restaurants.
