Former UCLA basketball player Darrell Allums was convicted of robbing cash and soft drinks from eight Domino’s Pizza deliverymen in 1987.

A Superior Court jury in Torrance found Allums, 30, guilty of seven counts of armed robbery and one count of simple, non-armed robbery.

Allums, a 6-9 backup center on the UCLA team that advanced to the NCAA finals in 1980, faces up to 13 years in state prison at his scheduled sentencing April 3. He remains in custody in lieu of $100,000 bail.
