The Raiders are expected to sign former All-Pro linebacker Otis Wilson, a free agent left unprotected by the Chicago Bears, to a multiyear contract today. No terms have been announced, but it is known the Raiders have topped the $1.1 million Wilson was to receive from Chicago over the next two seasons.

Wilson, 31, will be starting his 10th season in the NFL, but he didn’t play a down last year because of a knee injury suffered in the exhibition season.

The Raiders have signed linebacker Joe Costello, 28, a veteran of three years with the Atlanta Falcons, one year in the Canadian Football League and two years in the United States Football League.

Costello, 6-3, 245, spent the last three seasons with the Falcons, playing in 29 games and starting four, working at inside and outside linebacker and on special teams.
