From Times wire services

Unisys Corp., a leading defense contractor, announced today that the Navy suspended three of its divisions from further federal government work because of the Pentagon corruption scandal.

Unisys said in a statement that it received a letter from the Navy announcing the suspension of the three former Sperry Corp. divisions as part of the Justice Department’s “Ill Wind” investigation into Pentagon corruption.

Unisys was formed in 1986 by a merger of Sperry Corp. and Burroughs Corp. The suspended units are Shipboard and Ground Systems, Great Neck, N.Y.; Computer Systems Division, Eagan, Minn., and Communications Systems Division, Salt Lake City.
