Traffic Congestion
Calexico, Calif., citizens have demonstrated against the border gridlock there that they say caused the death of a mother and her children in the back of a pickup shell. They say the traffic tie-up caused carbon monoxide to leak into the shell of a magnitude to cause the deaths.
So that we won’t have a similar tragedy in Orange County in communities surrounding our freeways, we should demonstrate against Caltrans and the county supervisors for not keeping up with new buildings that are bringing about monumental gridlock throughout Orange County.
A demonstration and its TV coverage would warn others of the danger and hopefully car owners will correct such hazards before venturing into the spreading Orange County or any other Southern California “parking lots.”
