Negotiators have begun round-the-clock contract talks in an effort to stave off a strike by concession workers in Yosemite National Park. “We’ll negotiate all night if necessary to avoid the strike,” said a spokesman for the Yosemite Park and Curry Co., which handles all concessions in the park. Food service employees, custodians, hotel and recreation workers represented by Local 752 of the Service Employees International voted last week to go on strike at noon today unless a new contract agreement is reached. Some 150 union members staged a protest in the main lobby of the Ahwahnee Hotel in the park to protest management’s latest contract offer. “They are offering us peanuts,” Ben Zuboski, a union official, said.
