Compiled by James S. Granelli, Times staff writer

Universal Savings Bank in Orange has realigned part of its management to parcel out the recently vacated job of administering the S&L;'s seven branches.

Harold R. Williams Jr., the institution’s chief financial officer, was promoted to chief operating officer. He will add overall branch administration to his duties. Dottie Nagatoshi, a former branch manager, was promoted to vice president for branch administration. Susan Harris, a former assistant vice president, was promoted to vice president for branch operations.

The changes came after Martin B. Richelli, an executive vice president for branch administration, resigned.

The new format “will further boost operating efficiencies,” said Lawrence J. Grill, the S&L;'s chief executive.
