Share

“The Tell,” a 600-foot-long mural made of 40,000 photographs, will be put up along Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach on May 1 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of photography’s birth and the Orange County Centennial--but only if project director Mark Chamberlain can collect 30,000 snapshots from county residents from now to April 10.

Photos of anything at all will do, in either color or black and white. They cannot be returned. Send them to BC Space, 235 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach, Calif. 92651.

Or come to a “Print Party” at the gallery April 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission will be five or more photos. Prizes will be awarded for the most photos contributed. Information: (714) 497-1880.
