Taoufik Belbouli of France won the vacant World Boxing Assn. junior heavyweight title by stopping Michael Greer in the eighth round of their title fight at Casablanca, Morocco. The title was vacated after Evander Holyfield, who gave up the unified championship to fight as a heavyweight.
