Wendy’s to Open in Saudi Arabia: Wendy’s International Inc. said it signed a franchise agreement with Mawarid Food Co. of Saudi Arabia to open 30 fast-food restaurants in the Persian Gulf region over the next five years. Under the deal, two restaurants will be opened this year in Jidda and Riyadh states.
