Los Angeles lawyer Darry Sragow has been hired to help former San Francisco Mayor Dianne Feinstein organize her exploratory campaign for governor. Sragow managed Democratic U.S. Sen. Alan Cranston’s winning reelection campaign in 1986 and was a chief consultant on Lt. Gov. Leo T. McCarthy’s losing campaign for the U.S. Senate in 1988. Sragow will concentrate on Southern California for Feinstein, whose base is San Francisco, where she was mayor from 1978 to 1988.
