Penny Stock Case Dismissed: A federal judge has dismissed charges against penny stock mogul Meyer Blinder, his son and his brokerage, and chastised the Securities and Exchange Commission for misconduct in a 1983 civil case. U.S. District Judge Lewis Babcock ordered that no documents or testimony obtained in the case could ever again be used by the SEC in court against Blinder, his son, Larry, and Blinder, Robinson & Co. The firm was accused of not keeping correct books and records required by the SEC when securities are traded. The SEC has 60 days to appeal.
