MAI Basic Four of Tustin announced that the cash tender offer by its wholly owned subsidiary for all outstanding shares of Prime Computer common stock has been extended until May 3 . . . Wang Laboratories of Lowell, Mass., said it will cut its work force by 2,200 employees to 28,500 by June 30, 1990. The firm said it hopes to make the cuts through attrition but did not rule out the possibility of layoffs.
