Downey : New High School Texts Open to Public Review
New high school textbooks proposed for 1989-90 are available for residents to review before adoption by the Downey Unified School District board.
Thirteen textbooks for computer and social studies courses are on display in the lobby of the Gallegos Administration Center for inspection during office hours.
After reviewing the books, people who have suggestions or criticisms should send written notification to the district superintendent by May 9.
