Looking for Acquisition: Pennzoil Co., which netted $2.5 billion in a legal settlement over Texaco’s acquisition of Getty Oil Co., said it is searching for an oil and gas company or properties it can acquire for about $3 billion. “We have not found an investment at this point we feel will add value to the shareholders. We are still seeking very diligently that investment,” the Houston-based company said.
